Now, I will share her insights on how we can refine our personal brand and stay relevant in the fast-changing digital world.
”Workers should assess their level of innovation in their roles and remember the crucial role of human ingenuity and innovation.”
According to Licht, a successful personal brand is built on a successful work product. Without a solid track record, your reputation is at risk. For those who are comfortable in their roles, Licht recommends asking yourself some introspective questions. Here are a few she recommends:
- When’s the last time I learned something new?
- When’s the last time I brought a new idea to a company?
- When’s the last time I raised my hand and said, “I realized no one is doing this thing, and actually I have some time right now, and I’d love to take it on”?
I can’t agree more with Licht when it comes to self-reflection because our personal brand is built on our values, and without self-reflection it is not possible to know our values and prioritize them in the best possible way.
